Marketing Plan and Strategy?

Currently, i work in a storage and racking company in Malaysia. I'm trying to explore to USA. What type of Marketing plan and strategy i should use? Please kindly advise.

Answers:
A marketing plan is no more than a statement of goals related to sales/marketing and a plan (road map) to get there complete with time tables, tools required, etc. Strategy is nothing more than a statement(s) of the way the plan will be implemented.
