Will LaSalle Bank (part of ABN Amro) in Chicago--if the deal goes through--dissolve into Bank of America?

Would nearly everyone lose their job?

Answers:
In any acquisition Bank of America is ALWAYS the surviving company. Branch office employees will likely keep their jobs while "backroom" employees duplicating B of A's backroom functions will likely be more vulnerable. Obviously, not everyone will loose their jobs.
