Is it okay for an immigrant cuban to sue Chrysler for millions because a few employees damaged his car?
Answers:
LOL Chrysler won't give him much. Our office just sued Chrysler for contributing to the death of a 23 year old marine in a collision that was not her fault. Granted Chrysler was only partially at fault due to the faulty design of the A pillar on the Cherokees, but they didn't give much.
It is another frivilous lawsuit on his part. I would think the most he could do was get them charged with a hate crime. A company is not responsible for the acts of their employees.
No, I don't think it is right to sue the company.
Even though they may be employees, it wasn't the will of the company. When the company is sued, it hurts EVERYONE associated with the company, not just the people who acted on their own.
The people who did this should pay for the damages they did to his car. Chrysler would most likely fire them, as well, upon learning of the incident.
An incident like this isn't worth millions. It's only worth the damages. This would be an example of someone trying to take advantage in order to squeeze huge sums of money into their own pockets.
