How hard is it to sell (cold call) at board level (C-level)?

how to get thru to C-level people first of all to start selling ?
is it doable at all in case of blue-chip prospects?

Answer:
Unless you have a stellar reputation in your sales area the odds are stacked against you. If you reached 1 out of 1000 I would be surprised. Important people are busy and they have several levels of staff people that are employed to keep them focused on their main tasks. Cold call me at my main number and you have to get through two people first. If you plan on cold calling be sure to work up a good plan B.
Just as hard as it is to sell ice to an eskimo.
