According to many, since there were no explicit provisions to the contrary in the 1985 Companies Act, company articles were free to do so. Does anyone know if this has changed after the 2006 Company Law Reform? Does anyone know of any issue of so-called voting bonds in the UK?

My lecturer assures me that section 14.9 of Company Law, my Bible, its easier to understand than the actual Statutes, has not been affected by the latest Company Reforms. This section deals with most aspects of UK voting issues
