What is a vision and a mission?

What is your company's mission? Is it reflective of what the corporation does? why or why not?

Answers:
visions...seeing what something could be..a missions completing it.
A vision is what you see what you are capable of completing in your mind you re world your destiny. A mission is setting forth to accomplish that vision.
My Company does not in any way ( in my eyes) strive to reach their vision. They run a double standard strive for quality and safety. But the supervisors are promised a bonus and in turn sacrifice the safety and the quality at the companies ex pence! Money is the root of greed and evil!
A Company Vision is the goal or dream of where it wants to be in 3-5 years time. The Mission is the plan of how it is going to achieve it, and although you didn't ask the Values are how the Company acts along the way.
