Company mascot suggestions?

Low profile company that secures boarders and saves lives in the military. I need an object/ animal, or idea of a mascot to serve as company logo. best answer gets 10.

a big black labrador dog plus some general military type seal or the face of a strong looking male kneeling on one knee beside the dog? Maybe the background showing trees and a mountain.
Depending on what service the group is in..Use their mascot (or not - if low profile may not want to draw attention to them) with a special color (or, red, white and blue) staff crossed with a Carbon 15 9mm, with a small U.S. Flag drawn into the butt of the 9mm. Background would be a fence going around the picture at an angle to bring a modern look to the patches and make them look interesting.
