MC Donald's is a franchise therefore each McDonald's is owned by different people even though a the corporation controls the business. The franchisee, the person who owns the McDonald's near you, has to pay MC don lads for the trade name, supplies, and other stereotypical things like the interior.

The right to buy the franchise can be very expensive depending on the location and it is up to the franchiser (McDonald's) if they want to let anybody in that are set up a MC Donald's restaurant. MC Donald's can take the right to trade away at any time. Alot of MC Donald's are private limited companies as individuals cannot usually afford to pay the the large sum to start trading. sori i babble abit xxxx
