Who in society would you think would tell the general public how to prevent chronic diseases?

Ok, first off, if that is your blog, please, never go into journalism. The headline and graphic don't seem to relate at all to the body. Secondly, I would think it's common sense that there is a huge conflict of interest when drug companies become involved in making diagnoses. Its like letting your real estate agent pick your next house - he's obviously going to pick the most expensive one, as that will net him the fattest check. There's no way a drug company can impartially take part in anything but the treatment of a disease when they stand to make five figures per patient on some drugs.
