British Petroleum :) BP Amoco and now BP. By the way. Beyond Petroleum is just a marketing slogan.. its not the name of the company. The letters stand for nothing.

Was British Petroleum.Now Beyond Petroleum.
Soon to be named Bad Pipelines.
British Polluter!
Bees pee!!
the company name is still British Petroleum.

they run ads where they use the letters BP and they show and say "beyond petroleum."

hope that clarifies it for you.
"Blue Pantry"?

Strange because their colors are green and yellow...
It stands ONLY for bp. It used to be British Petroleum, and you may have seen commercials that say bright people, beyond petroleum, etc., etc., etc. but all those are simply marketing tags.
So uh, don't keep us in suspense! What is it. I live in California's version of Appalachia and we're inundated with BP logo's.

So the sneaky weasels did another name change. Honest to Christ, I know bad check writers who change their names less than some of these corporations.

PacBell is an excellent example. Rather than to improve goods or services, they just change their name and expect us to think they're someone else now! They spend more money on changing the signs on their trucks than they do for employee benefits.
British Petroleum.
BP Global
maybe is Bush Petroleum is BP, too
