I HATE Home Depot. I worked there for 2 years--there was NEVER enough staff--ever. That is why it got frustrating. They are unfair to part-timers too. They do pay well starting though. Just dont let them take advantage of him (if he decides to do something on weekends or at night). It's just my opinion. Good luck to him.
If he is already a full time electrician they probably pay decently if he has that sort of experience. I had a friend that worked there and he said it was alright he wasn't ever that big on it. If he needs more money then he could consider it but if he is already full time somewhere and then starts working at another place he might burn himself out. i'd rather jus do some hobby with the free time. haha i do muay thai and jiu jitsu and stuff in my free time. totally awesome.
They don't pay squat. Like any other retail store. If I were him, I would go out drinking.
