It depends where your live and what you do. There is a great program called ResumeMaker and it shows salary and job descriptions from all over. I looked up a couple of the positions in IT and found that there are jobs ranging between $35,000 on up to 6 figures. I would suggest that you determine the exact position that you're interested in. The program that I mentioned has job descriptions so that you can see what exactly you would be doing. Then write a resume' based on wording that you find there.
i think i would've looked into that before going threw a bunch of classes, but there is a web site that will tell you about salaries in your area, google it
