Can I start a website, as an online petition, to fire someone?

you are certainly free to create a website calling for the removal of an employee.
please note - you have to refrain from anything that can be construed as slander towards the company owning the store, meaning you can certainly state your grievance and the way you were treated for as long as it is verifiable, thereby soliciting other who have had a similar experience as you.
just saying the guy is a dirt bag and did not treat you right will, or could, land you in hot water.
be factual and you have nothing to worry about.

i wouldnt think that is a good idea due to the fact that if this person find out about the petition he/she can file an harrassment suit against the company and win...
secondly if it is walmart they will stick up for their management no matter how wrong they are and it will blow up in your face and you might end up gone.
third the other employees may talk the talk but wont walk the walk...you have some kiss * that might hip the manager or another manager that this is going on.or employees wont participate in fear of retaliation and leave you holding the bucket
