Has anyone ever gotten rich selling Amway products?

I admit that I know very little about Amway, but I've heard stories about people getting rich from selling their products. I've also heard that it's more like Scamway, though. Does anyone have any input?

Answer:
My ex-husband and I sold Amway in the 1990's for about a year. The guy who was over us made all the money, not us. I was so disgusted. Its a pyramid scheme, don't do it.
Just Mr. Amway.
No
no
The rich people whom you see, when you go to Amway presentations, are people who sell books and tapes that all of the "distributors" buy, so that they can figure out how to get rich. The real secret, which is never in those books and tapes is, "Sell books and tapes."
People can make a living selling Amway. The people who say it sucks are the people who tried it, sat on the couch and waited for the buyers to come to them. This is a business that you have to work very hard, just like any real business. Most of the upper people make the real money off the idea than someone like you or me. Again you can make a good living, but you have to work very hard.
Personally, if you are going to spend the time working a business, there are a lot of better business models out there that in the long run will be better for you.
The ones that own the company
Well, if you're good enough to sell a lot of amway products, imagine how much you would make selling cars or houses? If you really like selling, get a realtor's licence and you definitely will make a lot of money.
In theory, you can make lots of money with Amway. In reality, some people do too.

It is set up so that if you work at it, breath it, live it, and get bunches of other people to do the same, then there is money to be made. Problem is, the further down you are on the food chain, the less you are likely to make.

If you can apply their business model to an online business promoting and selling products online, you can contact many more people and stand a larger chance of making the money you are looking for.

Start with an affiliate site and learn the ropes. Who knows, you could be the next Wal-Mart.
Hi, I just read your profile and see that you are a cashier in a natural food store. I would like to invite to visit my website and click on the links on the right hand side of the page to listen about a company called Arbonne. They are vegan approved, have no animal by-product in the and have never been tested on animals. You were asking about Amway. It is part of the MLM business and in any of them you are going to have to work, but you have to treat it like a job, not a hobby. You are in business for yourself so you decide if you want your business to be successful and not look at everyone else. It would be the same as if you had a brick and mortar business. Here is the link if you are interested to listen.we never have anything to lose by listening and sometimes a whole lot to gain. Good luck to you. http://www.wonderful.myarbonne.com.
Amway does work, but I don't believe it is still legally operating here in the united states. I work in starting people up with their own internet businesses and specialize in private franchises. Hi Tangerine,

In answer to your other question; 'minge' is a British slang word for Vagina.
