Does anyone have any information on legit mystery shopper recruiting companies? I see a lot of advertisements but a lot are scams or seem like scams.

Most are scams, but I know some are legit. when I worked at McDonalds, we used the Mystery Shopper program. sorry I don't remember the name of the company.
