If you are in Los Angeles I know of a few places that employ felons as well as places that don't drug test.
In almost every town there is some sort of job force program! Some of the ones in our town are work-force, and defenders! They will find you a job, no matter your conviction! Other places to go for info. is mabee try your local Family Services Office, they may be able to get you on the right track! GOOD LUCK!

Your skills is the biggest factor in how well a job pays. You don't mention if you have any or your work experience. No mention of what felony you were convicted for.
Of course, none of this is any of our business, but you are the one asking for help.
If you are asking for how to find a well paying job for someone with no marketable skills, no experience and will not care if you are a felon, for whatever reason, then that employer would be swamped with applicants.
I, of course wish you luck, but I also hope you haven't set youself some unreasonable expectations.
