Is it possible to find a job in the night shift in a printing place?
Answer:
Not sure what part of Georgia you want, but.
You have a skill that's in demand, and you want to do it at a time when most other people don't, so it SHOULD work out for you.
It strikes me that it would be appealing for a printer to be able to offer those services to customers after "normal" work hours.
FedEx/Kinko's DOES offer those services, and they offer them in Georgia, too. You can do a search at the FedEx/Kinko's site to find one in your area which offers "Signs & Graphics" (link below in Sources). Maybe "Sir Speedy" - another business printer franchise - does similar things, although here they close at 5.
I did some searches on Indeed.com, which is an "aggregator" of job postings - collecting job postings from job sites (like Monster, CareerBuilder, America's Job Bank), online classifieds (like Craig's List and newspapers), and employer Websites.
Do this search on Indeed.com:
What - graphic designer
Where - georgia
That search brought 229 results. It would bring fewer if you put in a city name, in addition to the state. I tried putting "night shift" in the search, even doing an "Advanced Search" but that didn't seem to work well (although I could easily EXLCUDE "night shift," I couldn't INclude it - interesting).
So, I'd go through the postings in those 229 that looked the most interesting to see if I could find night shift, or second or third shift, opportunities. If there's an appealing employer listed but no indication of night shift (or not), I'd send them an e-mail asking about it.
If there is an employer who is very convenient for you (local newspaper, for example), I'd also approach them to see if they have any night shift, or, at least, after "normal" work hours shift.
Check your local Yellow Pages (online and off) for printers, and keep checking Indeed to see what turns up, or have them save the search as an e-mail alert for you.
Good luck!
I am sure there must be. The night shifts are usually the ones hardest to fill, so I suggest you do a search on your local newspaper website. I hope you find the right one. Good Luck.
Would love to share what I do from home. I am giving you my web site http://fhhc.stayinhomeandlovinit.com. , how ever it is a bit vague. I have a couple of options of how I can deliver the information one is on the phone and the other would be thru skype and a slide presentation. I am not able to send a simple email because it is important to hear all the information in it entirety. You can request information on the first page of my web site.
If you are interested in setting up a time to talk please just email me. You can stop by my blog and it may give you a bit of info about me as a person rather than a computer on the other end .http://fhhc.blogspot.com
You can search for jobs on Monster , Yahoo Hotjobs, Careerbuilder. They are some of the largest job boards, where you can apply for jobs and upload your resume. Since Craigslist, allows free job postings, many smaller companies post their vacancies on this online classifieds website. You can also search for jobs from multiple websites using aggregators like SimplyHired and Indeed. Referrals are also becoming a increasingly popular way to get hired.
