Will a job hire me even though im younger then what They're asking 4?
Answer:
Maybe if you go directly do them and apply with the individual manager you might have a better chance. There might be a "concrete" reason they are looking for 16+, but if you snow them with your maturity, and dazzle them with your brilliance, they just might be impressed enough to give you a chance.
I'm proud of you for wanting to work, though. You show a good solid work ethic for someone so young. Go get em, kiddo!
no, sorry
mayb
National Chains put that in as the federal age is 16 as well as many states.
You should be OK
im guessing most likely not. sorry. but there are still some jobs open for 14-15 year olds. like some grocery stores.
although it may not sound like your cup of tea, its a way to get some money. and at your age, thats the real main point.
ya, if they want to get a lawsuit.
A job does not hire you, a boss hires you.
If they say they only hire above 16, then they only hire above 16. Unfortunately, you'll have to look elsewhere for work, or else wait until you are old enough.
There are many reasons why they only hire people of a certain age. Much of it is legal liability - labor laws are different depending on one's age. Keep looking around, you'll probably find something.
Do you need a work permit for your state? Some fast food restaurants are prohibited hiring people younger than 16 and you can usually check into that online - for those who aren't, if you're legally able to work and can prove you can get to work for your shifts, they'll consider your application as they would any others.
maybe if you actually go to a job interview. You can get a better first impression from someone in person, and if you're charming enough then they'll probably consider you a lot more than if they just saw your application and rejecting you right off the bat because you're too young. good luck.
Its against the law to work underage. Unless they are doing it illegally you can. If you can work at 14, then actually go to the place and talk to them and what their requirements are. It doesnt hurt to try! =] Good Luck
No if it say 16t then those are corporate rules, and most likely for insurance reasons.
if you fill EVERY part of the application and dress neatly and do everything like a 16 year old, they might hire you, just don't lie.
There's no harm in trying to talk to the managers in person. What's the worst that could happen? If they do hire you, they may have to pay you under the table. ;) It's actually nice to see a young girl trying to work to earn her keep.
Cheers
