Do like I did, I got so bored and wanted to stay busy and I seen everyone else in the office had their hands full, so I asked my boss if any one in the office needed my help i may have some spare time here and there to help them get someof their work done to get more things in the office completed on time..she chose for me to help her out and it makes her happy that Im willing to help with things that are not my duty and its lightening her load as well.gettin those brownie points!!

The fact that you have passed the probationary period means that you are relatively secure at this time.
Just try to improve your speed and your value will be noticed. It is not a good idea to mention the subject at this time. You have not been there long enough.

Get to your boss in the Pantry. And start speaking about your projects. Make him feel that your more capable and could do wonders if given a chance.
Give him an immense feeling to offer you more task and make him feel proud..

Mention something about how happy you are to have accomplished so much today in such little time and how you were wondering if there was something else that needed to be done that you could assist with.
There are a few problems. One is that you need to keep good relations with your co-workers and you don't want to inadvertently make them feel bad about their pace of work, so be sensitive.
You don't want to threaten your boss if his/her boss starts to notice your good work. You don't want to pressure your boss to think of things for you to do, so don't tell him/her on the same day you need more work.
Notice your boss' work pace and the hours she/he puts in. If you notice that you could make your boss' life easier and if you would like more advanced work, then ask your boss if he/she would mind training you to do a project that your boss currently does.
