How to become a truck driver?

What do i need to become a truck driver Over The Road.

From A-Z

Answer:
First of all get a copy of your criminal record and driving record. Then call Swift or other companies and find out who to talk to about getting into training. They will send you to training and pay for it. In return you will work for them for 2 years or so to pay off the debt. They take a little out of each check, which don't matter because you will bring home up to 1,000 a week. Good luck.
i dont get ur Q. get a truck nd drive it, i guess..
you need to go to a truckdriving school
You'll need a CDL license. Call around to some of the companies you're interested in. Some companies pay for school and training, which will save you from having to pay.
Well, there are a few ways.
If you qualify for financial aid, your local community college usually has a 3-12 month course that teaches you everything you will need to know and will help you find a job after you graduate or before.

Another way is to do a search on the web of "Free CDL Classes" or something similar, and it should come up with truck driving companies or other companies that will put you in touch with free classes or classes you pay back after you have a job.

Large trucking companies like Schneider, Covenant, DSI, or whatever is a company near you, have their own schools with recruiters.

If you have any DUI's however, this could be a problem.
Either way good luck with your search !
First --- rethink that choice of prefession.
second -- knock yourself in the head before you say goodbye to everyone you know and love.
third-- go to your local employeement office and see if there is anything else on earth that you can do.
Learn the skill to become a proficient truck driver (ie. Knowledge of minor and major engine trouble shooting, handling of heavy trucks including trailer and knowledge of every route in and around of the state and interstate). Secure a driving license for heavy trucks. Finally, look for a good company that hires heavy truck drivers. By the way, you must be in excellent health condition and without criminal records.
First get you a C-B radio and learn the lingo. That's the hardest part.
