What is it like to be a sales rep for Xerox?

I'm considering a position selling copiers/products for Xerox, not necessarily as a career goal, but more a career step. I'd like to get some insight into the job and company.

Answers:
It depends on what part of the country you are in. Is Xerox well respected there? Where I live they are considered not in the top five vendors for this product line. Tough sell out this way. Make sure to find out what happened to the last guy or gal that had this job. Are they saying they are adding more sales folks to their territory? If so, will you be given named accounts to work? Or will they have you start selling cold to prospects that said "no" in the past. Also, if they are giving you named accounts (already clients) why are they taking them away from another sales person. You always want to know what's up before they turn around and do that to you in a year.

Good luck. I am a fellow salesperson that interviewed with them about five years ago. They had holes all over their answers and I walked away from the opportunity.
