Is being a Computer Systems Analyst a boring job?

I'm thinking about it as a career.

Answers:
I think that would depend on not only whether or not you like analytical challenges, but also the nature of the business.

For example, let's say your job was analyzing and debugging code in a financial application used by large banks to manage their stock portfolios. One wrong line of code and suddenly you have a client who is wondering where that three million dollars went.

Then again, would that be exciting? Or just stressful? At any rate, it wouldn't be boring.
If you don't like analyzing computer information and providing answers and feedback to management. Then yes, it is very boring. But if you like puzzles and sitting in meetings with smart people figuring out how to fix things, then no it is not boring.
It really depends on the job because that title "Systems Analyst" is used on all kinds of jobs that vary. I've seen "Systems Analyst" on programming jobs and hardware jobs. Also, it depends on the industry and the company. find a segment you are interested in (such as health care, government, retail, etc) and pursue that.
