Be proactive and go to your boss to discuss this problem. Apologize and explain what you intend to do to change your behavior. It will make your boss think better of you if you take responsibility for your failings. Do this TODAY!
Get up earlier and get to work on time. If the wheels are already in motion for you to lose your job, I think it's a little too late. I suppose you could go to your boss and apologize for your tardiness and show remorse.
Talk to your boss about the problem. Explain that you have solved it and it won't happen again. Start coming in early.
Consider making your boss's coffee or something nice like that.
Come in 30 mins early for the next couple of months.
Believe me, they notice that, too.
wake up earlier
Be ready if he calls you in. Let him know that you realized you had made a habit of being late and you are now trying very hard to correct that problem. Don't bother to give excuses, they are of no value. Just accept whatever he says and let him know that you appreciate his position and that you are trying to correct your errors.
Set your alarm for an hr earlier than usual. Get to work early and stay late. Go to bed earlier so you don't have so much trouble getting up in the morning. Go over your routine for getting dressed and ready and simplify it. You will feel much better about yourself and it will make a good impression at work.
meet ur boss immediately, express regret for ur past behaviour and assure him that u will never be late in future.
tell the boss before he asks you - and get up early for a couple of days - including the weekend - then it will be easy..
Be on time, from here on out.
If they come to you and want to discuss it, then talk to them. If they tell you they're terminating you, and they don't want to hear anything from you, then you can't do anything.
I have to get up early, so I go to bed early, and my bedroom clock is 20 mins. fast. When I wake up, I forget, and hurry to wake up, after seeing time in my room. By the time I remember, I am already awake. now it is a habit, and on my days off, i still wake early.
I can understand, since I have difficulty getting up in the mornings. am more of a night person. Best thing to do is to start sleeping earlier at night. Once you have enough sleep, you'll find it easier to wake the next morning and don't feel so tired. Of course you have to maintain it so that it becomes a habit and your body will get used to it. If you're worried about your job, start waking up earlier from TOMORROW onwards!
Try to get some of your morning chores done the night before, go to bed 1/2 hr earlier, then do not stop for coffee or drive thru on the way in.
Also, explain to your boss that you are changing your habits so you can get in on time.
Go to bed earlier so you can get a good nights rest, making it much easier to get up in the morning. Put your alarm clock across the room so you are forced to get out of bed to turn it off . then STAY up, don't go get back in bed.
I know how hard it is to make yourself go to bed early, but it's well worth it if you want to keep that job. Save your late nights for the weekend only.
