Make sure you take lots of good pictures, note every detail (good ones and any flaws) and prebox the item so you know how much it weighs. Nothing more annoying than trying to make a bid on something with *I'll send you the shipping amount at auction end* Yeah I'm waiting for my item of $4.75 that I won to cost $200 to send. Most people don't like bidding on auctions like that so the amount you get may be lower.
Warning: eBay is addictive...you'll be walking around the house saying to yourself "I wonder how much I can get for that"
Which is another thing. If you aren't sure how much something may sell for you can go to eBay find something that is the same or similiar to what you are selling and watch the auction. Good way to find out if it is worth anything by how much it sells for.
