How do i get into being a loan officer?

i recently got my real estate license, but haven't not looked for a job in that field. i'm kind of thinking i rather do loans. what is better real estate agent or loan officer? i'm alittle concerned with the money. i need some information on these jobs.

Answer:
Each state has different requirement for loan (mortgage) brokers. In some states, having a RE license makes you able to be a mortgage broker as well. Check with the department real estate of your state. Also, considering the slow market getting even slower in near future, I don't think either occupation has bright immediate future right now if you are just entering the field. Consider getting a job with a bank (any position to begin with). They will train you to be a loan officer (real estate or consumer.) Other Questions and Answers:
