How do you find out what career best fits your interests?

I'm 20 and out of high school and don't know what to to do with my life. I have no job(yes, i'm a loser)and no driver licence.

Answer:
Define your interests, and imagine where you would like to be in 30 years.

Yes, talk to the guidance counselor at your old school, but ALSO, avail yourself of career counselors at colleges, trade schools, and especially people you know and like, and ask them for some input.

There are a number of tests available to determine what your proficiencies are, and you can use those to adapt them to your interests.

Many colleges can provide career guidance over the internet for free.

Also, you may wish to have a conversation with the local state employment bureau, and maybe even some temp services.

Temping gives you the chance to see how different careers operate, and whether that field is something suitable to you.

You are already on the right path by asking this question at your age.

Good luck
Go to your high school guidance counsellor. They usually have a computer program that determines that sort of thing. Or an unemployment office.
Read What Color Is Your Parachute. It helps you select the best career choice for your interests.
Make an appointment with an adviser at a college. They can point you in the right direction. It could be a workshop or a worksheet to help you decide what your interests and strengths are, and what career suits them. You are not a loser.
Do you have any hobbies you like to do? (Ofcourse you do, right?)
For example - If you like designing stuff/ drawing, you might as well go for being a designer.
You don't have to feel loser simply because you don't have job. Enroll for course that interest you and keep on enhancing your skill and knowledge. It is career that matters, not job.

Do swot analysis:
Strengths - your own
Weaknesses - your own
Opportunities and - your environment
Threats - your environment

And find out what career that best suits you based on this. Wish you all best in your career endeavor.
On top of visiting your school counsellor, I think you should organize with various organization Human Resources Management personnel to help you in searching for the best career. Sometime the best way to knowing something is experiencing it.
