Answer:
learning japanese may land you in good jobs as well as in japan..
though tough but if it good to learn it..
SIMPLY GREAT.
Japanese is a hard language to learn as they have 3 different types of levels of it used by its people. The children start with hiragana which is the basic writing form before they go on to the intricate picture writing called kanji. Katakana is also used when writing foreign names and things. THere are over 50,000 kanji characters although most are not used in daily life. But it take some time to learn the basic Hiragana and Katakana before you can tackle Kanji. It is an interesting language to learn as there are times when specific words can be used and a lot to learn about their culture as many things we do would offend. But just the same worthwhile to learn if you have the time
It's actually a fun language to learn once you get over the 'exotic'ness of it. The writing systems take a bit of time to master (approx. one month for Hiragana and Katakana if you are diligent about it). Kanji is a bit trickier but once you understand the concept, it's easy. As for the grammar part, I find it easier to study and understand since I know three Indian languages and Japanese is more like a fourth one, an easier one at that. You can take the 4-year long JLPT (Language Proficiency test) or the short term courses.
