I was wondering what career i should do when I'm older,because I have to start focusing on something soon.

Being a writer is a career you can plan on, but then you have to find someone who will pay you for your writing. So it is a bit hard to break into the field.
Being a journalist is something that is a realistic career, something you can prepare for and study for when you get to college.
However, keep in mind that your interests are almost certain to change as you get older. Most people's interests do change.
