Tell me about being an arcitect?

Okay, well I am kind of interested in being an arcitect, since I'm a lover of art and design. If you can, please answer these questions concerning an ideal architect?

*How much money can you make?
*What schools major in arcitectural design, and if you DO want to be an arcitect, what should you focus on majoring in?
*Is is a work-at-home kind of thing or work at office?
*Are there any sites out there that informs and helps you become an arcitect, virtually?

I think you have to be able to spell Architect before they allow you into the career field.

you can work for urself or for a company,,
anyway u wind up at an office.
and and school is good. im in new york so i am goin to NYIT which is #2 in the us after columbia university in architecture.
