I understand how you are feeling. When my ex hubby and I seperated he was not working even part time. I went to DSHS in Washington and got emergency assistance for my daughter to be in daycare. They asked me if I needed anything else, and because I was working I didn't. I was only on it for a couple of months until I got on my feet and my deadbeat ex started helping out. The point is you do need as much help as you can get. Go to the state for assistance, drop your pride unless you want to be begging on the corner. If you are not working you should be able to get emergency assistance for living expenses and food stamps that will also allow for emergency child care to find work. Good luck and don't feel bad about doing this. It is what state assistance should be for. You can find your local offices either by typing in your city and food stamps or by looking in your local government pages in the phone book.
try a staffing company, like express personel. If you can pass a drug test, theyshould give you the job that day and start the next.
Well you could move back in with your mom or dad for a while unless you guys don't get along. Any friends or relatives you could stay with. You could try to go on wellfare. I hope luck comes to you.

There are assistance programs out there. Check with family/friends for advice, get a boyfriend, you can figure it out.
If child care is an issue, there are many churches and community organizations that will watch your child for free while you look for work. Also talk to your landlord and see if you can convince them to take your rent payment a bit late, with a big fee I'm sure, and hold off on evicting you. then you can look for a job. Be aggressive! Go to all the temp agencies, day-labor companies, and job-seeker fairs. Make 100 copies of your resume at kinkos, and apply to every job you think you might qualify for! try the local city or county welfare department. Thay may be able to help short term , and with food stamps. Depending on your childs age there may be additional assistance for food , for the child.
Some womens associations may have a child minding service that can look after your child while you are looking for work.
Go to your local Department of Human resources. They will give you emer. food stamps, the work force comission will help you find job. And the human resources will help pay for child care. Also call the Chamber of Commerce and they should be able to set you up with some local charity programs that may help pay a percentage of your utilities. Talk to you land lord, they may work with you or help you apply for housing assistance.
HUD housing and food stamps would be a start
if you have family that you get along with move in with them till you can get a job and get a place of your own again.

you should of gone to the welfare office awhile ago Go down and apply for TANF it is very little but it will help at least pay rent and get yourself some food stamps. Go down first thing in the morning you may need to make an appointment and go back but bring a copy of your rent SSI number state ID your kids birth certificates, proof that you are out of work if you have it bank statements and utlitiy bills it won't pay for every thing but it will help
There are many social service agencies wherever you live. Contact your local state work commission office. Many states offer greatly reduced or even free child care while you work. Get a hold of family services and they can help you get food stamps, medical care for your children as well as be an excellent resource for additional financial aid you may be entitled to.

Go to your local DHS office and apply for help they will give you emergency food stamps,in the meantime apply for unemployment and go to the Child Support Enforcement (DHS will help with this) and sue your ex for child support.It's not your problem he's not working legally,you need money to support your child !
