How long to wait for response after 2nd interview?

i got my first interview on a friday and was told there were 4 candidates. 6 days later i got a call for a 2nd interview.
During the 2nd interview, I was introduce to the team and the director was showing me the architect of the company like whose VP, Manager, etc. As we were walking out, the director was telling me how this place is a nice working environment and that he'll be making a decision shortly.
Its been two days, how long should i wait? I have already sent out a Thank-you letter on the day of the 2nd interview.

Answers:
Unless you have additional information they could use in their decision (additional letter of recommendation, copy of a certification, something like that), you have done all you can.

If you have any additional info, right a quick note re-iterating your excitement at the opportunity as a cover for the additional information.

And the above answerer is correct, if they took 6 days (really only 3-4 working/business days) count on it taking them as long, or longer.

Good luck, please let us know what happens!
You've done all you can at this point. Calling now would be bugging them. Since it took 6 days for them to call you for 2nd interview, give them at least 6 (working) days from day of 2nd interview before contacting them again.
Wait a week. Then follow up with a call. Say that you are just making sure they didn't have any other questions about your qualifications and whether they had made a hiring decision. Call once and don't send another email.
What you have done so far is very professional and on target. I would give it a week with a follow up email or call to the individual that set it up for you. Good Luck
