How's the economy in the Atlanta area?

I'm considering relocating from the Northeast. I've got several years of telecom, tech, and entrepreneurial experience, professional degrees in business admin and in public policy.

If you're familiar with the Atlanta job market, do I sound employable? Is the economy there hopping or is it slow? What are the hot sectors and jobs?
