How sad is it to be second choice in asda?
Answers:
Time for suicide I reckon (no offence)
I think you have just dropped out of the evolutionary chain
yep. and don't worry about it. Look at it this way. They felt you were over qualified for the job. I actually got told that once before......lol
Never been in that position but looking on the bright side, they have obviously seen qualities they like in you. Maybe the other candidate had more experience than you which isn't the end of the world. If you don't hear from them, try Tescos! Good luck x
Which Asda? I'm also trying for a job in Asda.
Theres nothing sad about wanting to work for a living no=matter what the job is!
I once worked in a perfume factory through an agency for £127 a week but it was better than being on the dole!
Keep your chin up and be proud you have a lot more dignity than some people!
I once failed to land a job at Macdonalds, it wasn't even serving it was out back doing odd jobs/trash etc ha ha
That is pretty sad, thoughi cant talk i went to an interview at the co op.
I would tell them where to stick the job (unless you really want it then Id keep my fingers crossed that someone turns it down) What a cheek
your game to work at anything whats wrong with that, if they wont hire you somebody else will. i personally wouldnt work for any supermarket unless it was in distribution and mon-friday 8-5 and no overtime but because of my pig headedness ive gone hungry. but yeah ive been for jobs and told we do second interviews, i never got a call back this is for a warehouse forklift driving job and i've done it for 12 years a piece of piss to me. but no worries every closed door opens from the other side with a kick. sometimes it doesnt hurt to big yaself up.
