How does Salary Works?
Answer:
Salaries are generally always the same amount no matter how many hours a week you work. This is a good thing and a bad thing. If you work less than 40 hours you still get the same amount of money. If you work overtime, you still get the same amount of money. Salaries are usually higher than hourly wages because the employers expect you to put in occasional overtime without additional pay.
Salary can be weekly, monthly or bi-monthly. It just depends on the company.

Salary can be paid weekly or bi-weekly, whatever way your employer pays in general. The difference between salary and hourly wage is that you get one set pay regardless of how many hours you work. If you work over time or over 40 hours a week, you still get the same amount of pay. Hourly wage pays by the hour.you get overtime pay if you work over 40 hours a week.
Salary is generally a higher pay range and mostly paid out to Managers, vp. pres., etc.
In the company I work for there are two basics pay types - Hourly and salaried.
Hourly get paid per hour based upon (normally) a 40 hour work week. These people normally get paid on a weekly basis.
Salaried individuals get paid once a month, but this does not have any direct relation to the number of hours worked. (Meaning no overtime pay)
A good employer will put overtime into the salary.Basically you work as much as needed and don't get sick days. You take off what you need .Your expected to be responsible with your time and you get paid every other week. Then you figure out how many hours you worked and if your lucky your making minimum wage
it depends on the job and the company
