After retirement can I get unemployment compensation?

Answer:
Not unless you were fired.
At age 62, you can get social security if you are paying into it now. You should seriously consider starting a retirement fund.
But wait until you are 65 to retire. You will get much better benefite than if you retire early.

(Is retirement age 67 now? Does anybody know?
There is no cut and dried answer to this situation. It all depends upon the conditions of your employment/retirement and your state's rules on unemployment. It will depend upon whether you are eligible for a pension, if you elected to retire or were forced to retire, what the state's rules are, and the type of pension.

Your best bet is to contact the state unemployment compensation board with the specific details.
Not if you'r getting Social Security
you mean you voluntarily retired? No

You can only get unemployment if you are fired or you are laid off from your job. You don't always get it if you were fired if your employer can provide an explanation suitable to the unemployment detartment as to why you were fired.

in most states you cn only get it for six months
If you're old enough to retire you'll get social security benefits. I don't believe they give unemployment compensations to people that's retired.only that's been laid off or fired.
Perhaps, if you're in need of extra income.look into network marketing. You can work in the comfort of your own home. Here's one that's not a scam and it's a Proven Formula at http://www.bedavis1.mywayout.n. It is a new division of a billion-dollar international company that is listed on the New York Stock exchange. Keep in mind however, not all businesses are scams..but yet there are some out there that prey on those looking for a serious business. Almost every business requires a start up fee because you're purchasing products or resources/business tools to get you started in your business. As with ANY business you look at, DO check them out with the BBB (better business bureau) for legitimacy, ratings, complaints and praises, etc. Get the book "The Business School" by Robert Kiyosaki and read about his cash flow quadrant and other ideas/suggestions about how to make it in your business. Zig Ziggler’s "Over the Top" is another excellent book as well!
Good luck on your endeavor!
