I need to get a second job and am not sure of the best place to look? im from gloucester, uk?

i am currently working full time with a good wage. unfortunately, accumalated debts in the family means i really need to get a second job. i work with young people all day, so would really like something from the evening/weekend which wouldnt involve such work. i tried getting a job at B&Q but the computerised personality test said i was too much of a non-conformist so they wouldnt even give me an interview! what did they think i was going to do, change the shelf displays around at will to annoy them? i feel a little discriminated against because i havent just left school/college, i am quite intelligent and also a good communicator. lets face it, the last time i went to B&Q i asked about strawberry plants in the garden centre bit, and was told they would be with the other fruit trees.. please help, i dont know if i can cope with such idiocy!

Answer:
UPS in Gloucester used to have a twilight shift.. Dull job but the money is ok.
What about Tescos in the cattle market?

Lastlly, there is a coldstore in Barnwood which is always after staff.

Have you looked into direct marketing companies like Avon, Mary Kay, Party-lite, Cookie Lee Jewelry, Pampered Chef? Any of these can bring in extra money with a little planning. I'm not sure which if any of these are available to you in the UK but it's worth a look if you're interested.
I recently started selling Cookie Lee jewelry and mostly sell to friends, family & co-workers but still bring in a little extra cash every month without having to hold down (and plan around) another job. The start-up is fairly low and the return can be excellent!

Contact me for more info on Cookie Lee if you'd like to know more about that, but here's some links to check out:
Why not try your local pub? They are open all hours and will fit around your other job.
As has already been suggested working in your local pub is a good one. You might like to try Beefeater if you have one nearby, I have a friend who at least used to be one of the managers at "The Twelve Bells" (I've lost touch so she might have moved on). Beefeater is generally a good company to work for. They're pretty clued in on Health & Safety regs as well as staff training and development. Their hours are usually pretty flexible and they're almost always looking for staff.
I used to work for the company myself, but due to moving house had to finish my employment with them.
