please help as i am going to quit my office job as i want to start my apprenticeship so i can become a social worker

This is not an area i wpould recommend for MODERN APPRENTICESHIP.
You would be better going to college doing an access course and then a Dip sw
Diploma in Social work as a full time course, you will get work placement and probably enjoy the experienc ebetter as it is a more appropriate setting .
Telephone your local collage of further education (it should be in the phone book) they can tell you all about the modern apprenticeships what’s involved what you need for the courses etc.
yea they're great, i did one in animal care back when i was 17 and never looked back, gave me loadsa experience at a vets and a great start with your career. Now i've got a £19k pa job and the experience to go anywhere i wanted
Modern apprenticeships depend on age you have to be between 17-24 i think to partake. Uni would be the best idea the open uni do a health and social care course that can help get you off the ground and gain some experience in the field.
