Job Related?

It has been three weeks since I dropped my application at marshall's should i call them and tell them what is my status on my apllcation, if so how should i say it, and to whom should i talk to?

Answer:
say.hi, my name is .and (if there is a Human Resource Department, tell them to connect you to that Dept.). if they ask whom you want to speak with, tell them I'd just like to follow up on an application.

once you are connected with the right person, tell him/her that you are just wondering about the status of your application, (give them bluff) because two of your OTHER applications have been approved and you are now trying to weight and decide which one to accept (this one will make them STUDY your application sooner if they haven't).

but please make sure you can actually make follow-ups, a lot of companies usually say, that no followups are entertained and that only the successful applicants are called (a timeframe is given).

good luck
I would call and ask for personnel, and say "I'm calling to inquire about the status of my job application. Could you please help me with that?"

That should be sufficient.
I would have done it in less than 10 business days.
Ask to talk to HR Director, state name, and reaffirm your interest in the position. Then inquire as to the status of the opening.
Thank them nicely, even if the job is filled.
People LIKE it when you follow up & express interest, and it may give you an edge over others.
if they haven't called you in the first week after filling out your app then for get it because they were not interested in you
