If you already mow people's lawns, you can tell those people you babysit. You can tell your parents, friends, neighbors, classmates, and teachers to talk up about your business. If your parents let you, maybe put an ad in your school/local paper/radio/tv station. You can post flyers at school and on community bulletin boards. You can distribute flyers to people you know.

It has been a long time since I have babysat but I know that I charged $10/hr or it really depends on the parents as well they may give you less or more. I usually took what the parents of the child gave me too which was usually pretty good but sometimes bad. I think that the amount you are asking sounds good..I would let you babysit for me if I had kids! Goodluck!
