How do I switch careers after 9 years away?

Any suggestions on how to write my resume's objective to catch the eye of a perspective employer. I want to get back into food service management after being in property management the last 9 years. I don't want to sound negative on my current career but my passion is my former career of 20+ years. I have sent out a resume listing my restaurant experience but had no calls, I don't blame them, who wants an old horse. I see all the young people in food service now and think maybe I'm too old (45) but I have a lot to offer.

Answers:
tell them you want to go back to your first love, which is food service, you want to use your skill again, and take some classes, to refresh your mind, good luck
