Why did I leave my last job?

Please answer in the perspective of a PROFESSIONAL interview

Answer:
Assuming you left the job without another job lined up, this may be a little bit more difficult to handle. I did it one time, and here's what I said to the question "Why did you resign without another job lined up?"

I felt it was a conflict of interest to puruse a job in this industry while continuing to do the job that I had with my previous employer. As a courtesy to them, I felt I had to resign in order to pursue this job. I'm quite sure you would appreciate it if an employee did the same thing for you."

Good luck.
Make up your own answers.but it better be the truth, 'cuz it'll come back and bite you on the *.

Only, you know the answer to this question..
Have a nice day! Bye
Just be honest and tell the interviewer why you left. Honesty is always the best policy.
geez, were you slinging burgers at McDonalds or the CEO of GM - might be a little easier to give a clue there.

Easiest one, is that the culture changed and it wasn't a good fit anymore - it doesn't cast aspirations on you or the company.
