Advice! I can't take it with this B**?
Answer:
If she is this horrid toward you and degrading you by talking trash about you, it appears that she is trying to get the acceptance of others to agree with her of your flaws. Which they probably do to keep her off of their backs. Others have expressed to you that she is always like this so they must have had their share of her judgemental opinions. And now, you are the scapegoat for her. You are the newest employee.
If coffee is offered to all employees, there should be no problem with you having a cup or two. Does she drink coffee? Water? A pop on company time? Who is she to say what's good for the goose isn't good for the gander? Does she go to the restroom on company time? If you are being honest here, She better lighten up and reread the company policy. Did you get a copy? You are entitled to one as well as a 10 minute break every two hours if you are working a 40 hr week.
For her to demeener you in front of other employees or to speak unruley of you to them is called slander. Look that up in the law library and you will see that what she is doing is against the law. Did you know that you could sue the company for allowing this to happen especialy when her brother inlaw is aware of her inadiquacies and untollerable nature toward you and others?
I hope I've helped you here and opened your eyes. Document everything that you possibly can. What she has said to you as well as what others have told you she has said. Are her statements toward you directed at you or the job you are doing. And last but not least, by her locking you in a room away from your (per say) coffee, not only did she break the law, but she put your well being in jeopardy. What if you were claustephobic or if there was a fire. Something to consider. Good luck my friend.
well.. start documenting. then file to her superiors.
if she is The the boss. file a lawsuit for abuse!
You were unemployed when you took this job, right? Keep lookin'.
I worked with a broad once like that. I hope you do it soon! She's getting on my nerves! lol Unless you can keep turning the other cheek, she will continue to bother you until you tell her off!! She needs put in her place. Good luck!
Grit your teeth and bear it until you find something else. I agree with documentation, but only if you plan on sticking around. Step up your efforts to get the heck out of Dodge ASAP! This is beyond unreasonable, and shouldn't be tolerated.
Wow sounds like that bit** needs to get Laid. That aside do you really need the job that bad that you will take that sort of abuse? If you do decide to stay make sure you document every thing. So when you reach that breaking point you can go over her head with a whole file of information. Your human resource department will be all over her *. If not you lawyer will. I recently saw an article on how to deal with a boss who is a A** Hole. Tray a search and I am sure you will find something.
It's up for you to decide. You have to weigh out your options. Quit and find a job at a place that makes you happy or stay and deal with your boss every workday for the income. Do what you think is it right.
