Is it acceptable to go to a job interview in scrubs?
we have to wear scrubs. I have a job interview after
school at a small clothing store. Should I go home and
change first?
Answer:
if you want the job..yes..it shows respect and responsibility..besides its a clothing store.show some fashion sense
i would say what ever you feel comfortable with.
Absolutely. Even applying for a hospital job you'd want to wear nice clothing. A clothing store is going to be especially judgemental of your appearance.
You either go home and change or take your change of clothes to work with you. Never show up for a job interview in scrubs even if you'd be wearing them on the job.
Wear a nice set of interview clothes to school the day of the interview and bring your scrubs to change into before going to the hospital job. There's no need to go home to change unless you have no other choice. Even Superman found places to change so you can too!
No, just explain that you have no time to change before heading out to do volunteer work.
Yes, go home & change. Scrubs = not cool.
At work they're fine though. Interviews, no.
Yes interview needs to be given in proper cloths B.coz First impression is last impression
Take a change of cloths with you and change in a bathroom. I think you just like people to see you in scrubs so they think you are a doctor.
I would say that your best bet for getting the job would be to dress in your finest clothing, and by that I mean something formal. An employer, no matter what the occupation almost always looks at the candidates for a job more fondly when they show a decensy, and dress formally for the interview.
It would also be a good idea after you have finished your interview to send them out a typed letter of saying how much you appreciated the opportunity to have had the interview.
Employers also look at that quite fondly.
If you do all of this and are well qualified for the job, likelihood is that you will probably land the job in which you seek.
Have a nice day.
