Would you follow a boss around from job to job because you felt confident working just for him and no one else

Answer:
If the move from job to job was within the same company, yes. There would be no break in longevity or benefits eligibility or retirement eligibility.

If a job change also meant a company change, there would have to be better benefits for me to even consider such a change. I can control my own success. I don't care to build my future on the success of my boss at a brand new company. Besides, how do you guarantee that both of you will be hired at a new place?
No.it makes you look kind of desperate and dependent.
That depends if it's a good job and you make a good salary and have good benefits.
My cousin works with his boss and if ever leaves the company he goes with him because they work great as a team and they are best friends as well.
Really you should do what feels right for you and for your career.
No.. your success and career shouldn't be based upon another individual..
