Convicted felons jobs?
Answers:
Class E felonies are noting but Class 2 misdemeanors that have been changed to a felony level as a temporary solution for the over crowding in the county jails. It allows for a prison sentence on a lower level crime. You should have NO problem obtaining employment, provided that you have not been convicted of a theft or drug related offense. The government has mandated re-entry programs for connected felons. Use the Internet to help you locate these programs currently in use in your area.
Well, I don't know of any state that will not give Class E felons a hard time for a job. I think employers that receive tax write offs will allow felons to work in their workplace only because they receive a incentive for allowing so many felons and depending on their charges. You should check with the local employment agencies and Work Net or low income resources agencies in your area. They should have a program called Ex- Offender Re-entry in the Work Place Program. Good Luck!
