If a company moves to another state and i am offered a job but refuse do i still get unemployment?

Answer:
Yes you still get unemployment. I was working at the check processing department at the Federal Reserve Bank of san Francisco. Anyway, the Federal Reserve Bank decided to consolidate the check department of S.F. with the one in Los Angeles. The Federal Reserve Bank decided to close the check processing department of San francisco and let the Federal reserve Bank of Los Angeles handle the volume of checks. It will be closing the last week of Dec. of next year or sometime in 2008. That means that all the permanent staff members who worked there will file unemployment if they can't find a job in another dept. and they will get it because it isn't their fault that the check department closed. The people who are working at this dept. in S.F. wasn't offer jobs in Los Angeles. So you will get it.
yes you can. you were laid off. now as far as them offering you a position that doesn't count. i mean where they moved to may have been inconvenient. i'm sure you will still get it.
