How hard is it to become a MD exactly?
1. How hard is it to get in to Med school? How fierce is competition?
2. Is it safe to say the competition is mild once you are in med school? Or is there still high turnover rate?
3. How many years of schooling and residency program is needed to finally practice as a MD in a hospital?
Thanks for any insights.
Answer:
You are either poor or dedicated. You cannot be both. You have to decide for yourself. If you are dedicated, then follow your heart. If your are in it for the money, then there isn't any.
My suggestion..try Registered Nurse
1. IT NEEDS DEDICATION, PATIENCE,HUMILITY.YOU HAVE TO BE EXTRAORDINARY TO STAND OUT, YOU HAVE TO SWEAT IT OUT.
2. THERE WOULD ALWAYS BE COMPETITON. THERE IS A HIERARCHY.BE PREPARED TO BE ENSLAVED BY YOUR SUPERIORS.
3.AFTER YOUR PRE-MED COURSE, 4 YEARS OF MED PROPER, 1 YEAR OF INTERNSHIP, PASS THE BOARD EXAM, DEPENDING ON WHAT SPECIALTY YOU WANT, CAN TAKE 3-5 YEARS MORE FOR THE RESIDENCY TRAINING, THEN SPECIALTY BOARDS.
YOU HAVE TO WORK HARD IN ESTABLISHING A NAME FOR YOURSELF.
CONSTANT STUDYING AND PRESSURE
IF YOU'RE UP TO THE CHALLENGE, THEN GOOD LUCK!
P.S. THINK HARD BECAUSE IT CAN TAKE A LOT OF TIME AND MONEY1
