Does this mean I have a chance of being hired?
Thank You
Answer:
They are just letting you know that they received your resume.it's a courtesy that most large companies extend to prospective new hires. It does not mean that you've been hired or that you'll even get an interview. Good luck though :-)
Probably not. You need to make sure to call them back in a week if you don't hear from them.
Not at this time i think your best chance is to keep looking
Sounds like a generated response that they send out to every applicant.
And something else you may not know is that most employers will only keep your resume on file for 3-6 months, after that they get tossed out.
If you are really interested in a particular job then you will need to stay on top of it and make sure you keep giving them an updated resume every few months.
It is form letter 101. You first have to be called, interview successfully and then be offered a position.
Doesn't sound like you're getting the job. Form letters are never a good sign.
