I tend not to worry about the grammar police either my friend...the quickest way to get to work at the bank is through collections. learn how to skip trace and forclose...repo and outside collect...a teller job is nothing...get a job as a loan processor sweetie that's where the money is..are you brave? can you find peeps by talking to their Granny's and mothers and brothers? can you Sweet talk them out of the merchandise? tons of folks are need in that department and it pays well

Why are you so much hung up to work in the bank. May be you are not the right person for that job. All companies including banks hire best people for that right job that they are suited for. May be you should be looking for something else.
I worked as a part time teller when I was in college. If I was you I would just keep applying for a position. Just make sure the bank you are applying to is actually hiring, and explain that even though you are still in college you will be able to work around your class schedule.
Banks don't hire people with bad credit because it shows that you are irresponsible with your personal affairs. You don't handle money well. Plus, you have no polish. You presentation is awful. You don't capitalize the word I. You type in run on sentences.

You should try a finance company. They might be more lenient in their hiring practices. Good luck and polish up.

I would worry about those people. I would work for my self and start my own biz. You can do that and have benefits to. You said you are good with people then this job is for you. Go to

Banks check a number of things before hiring. Most do extensive background checks, as well as checking your credit. Your credit may have something to do with you not getting hired. Banking is all about risk-management. Hiring someone with poor credit who has a lot of debit to pay off is a risky move. Also, it could be your presentation in the interview. If you don't interview well, it could be that no matter where you go, you could have difficultly finding a job. Why do you want to work in banking so badly?
If you really want to work in a bank... just keep applying. You will definately get a position as a teller somewhere as long as you dress clean... and present yourself well. Stress to them that your looking for a career, that you have a dependable track record, and that you have a passion for this area. I work at a bank and am leaving... banking to me is boring and not related close enough to finance and economics as you would think... but more shiesty sales techniques and simple lending.
I think it depends on the bank and what their qualifications are. My cousin recently got a job at a bank and her credit is less than perfect. I say just keep trying and I'm sure something will come along for you. Good Luck :-)
