This one should open a can of worms. Customer Service to me is treating each person that I do business with and that does business with me exactly like I want to be treated.
There are __ keys to customer service.
1. The CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT - we just have to listen and be patient and help them understand what they are right about. Most times they just want to vent and once they do they are ready to work with you.
2. EVERYONE IS A CUSTOMER TO and PROVIDES CUSTOMER SERVICE TO SOMEONE - Even the CEO and Presidents of companies have customers and are customers. When an organization recognizes this fact, they excel in customer service and they prosper. Problem is we don't see that much today.
3. NOT EVERYONE IS CUT OUT TO BE FACING A CUSTOMER - this includes on-line, on the phone, or in person. Some folks just don't have the skills.
